The Johnson Aerospace and Engineering Department is very excited to be the first high school in St. Paul, to offer the rigorous challenges of Aerospace and Engineering to its students.
Johnson has a rich tradition when it comes to athletics. Studetns have many opportunities to join a sports team. We offer more than twenty-five athletic activities during the school year.
Johnson is very proud of our alumni. We look forward to new generations of students carrying on the traditions of excellence set by the classes of the past.
Micheal Thompson, an experienced school leader, has been selected as new principal of Johnson Senior High School. He has spent more than 25 years with Saint Paul Public Schools, most recently serving as principal of Gordon Parks High School. Thompson first began working with Saint Paul Public Schools in 1986 as a teacher and spent 10 years at Johnson Senior teaching English.
