In this course, students will read horror, mystery, fantasy and science fiction short stories and novels offered through a variety of academic. Students will analyze and discuss the distinguishing elements of each genre. The reading list and focus is expected to vary with the interest of the students in the class. Emphasis is on reading for pleasure. Students must compose and tell an original story. Students passing this elective course will meet the reading requirement for graduation.
