Saint Paul College (SPC) Algebra

Saint Paul College (SPC) Algebra

Course Number(s): M403061, M403063

Length: 2 semesters (4 credits)

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Algebra 2 AND Junior fall/winter Arithmetic Accuplacer score of 45 or higher or permission of teacher

Grade: 12

This course is intended for students who are not quite ready for College Algebra as indicated by a College Level Math Accuplacer score of less than 50.  By taking this class in high school, you can avoid paying tuition for no college credit math classes required before College Level Math.

This course is the equivalent of Saint Paul College Elementary Algebra (Math 1510) AND Intermediate Algebra (Math1520), which are “no college credit” math classes taught to prepare students for “for credit” college level math.  Earning a B or higher by completing SPC course requirements will earn you advanced placement at SPC and possibly at other two-year colleges in the area.
