This choir is for female students who are new or returning to the Johnson High School choir program and have not auditioned for Concert Choir. Knowledge and development of a healthy singing voice is the learning objective of this ensemble, as well as the ability to understand and read printed music. The ability to sing in harmony and learn nationally recognized choral practices will be taught using standard choral literature from a variety of musical styles and historical perspectives. Members accept an obligation to participate in public performances, some of which will be outside of the school day.
