Drawing Advanced

Course Number: V401141

Length: 1 Semester (2 credits)

Prerequisites: Drawing Beginning grade B- or higher

Grades: 10-12

Intermediate drawing will help students continue to develop technical skills in drawing.  The elements of art and principles of design will be discussed and built upon throughout the course.  The students will explore a variety of new drawing media and techniques including charcoal, chalk, ink, dry and oil pastels.  Color theory and application of color media will be a large portion of this course.  The students will be expected to think creative and work diligently throughout the semester.
