Hello!

I am Amy Fuller, and I teach 9th grade Freshman Focus and 11th grade Frameworks. 9th grade Freshman Focus helps students acclimate to high school by learning about the Johnson culture, and the academic expectations of high school students. It also sets students on a career exploration path through surveys, professional speakers, and personal projects. 11th grade Frameworks takes students to the next level of planning for post-secondary life, whether that is a 2 year or 4-year college, or a job with a livable wage. Students update their resumes, do further career exploration, a 6-week professional eMentor experience, and a mock interview process. Students leave both these classes with tangible skills that they can use in their futures. In my classroom, it is very important to me that students feel safe and secure in their identities, and this includes affirming culture, language, gender, sexual identity, and religion.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two sons, reading science fiction, and connecting with my friends.
