Daniel Englert

I’ve been teaching Health at Johnson Senior High from September 2023 to now. I’m an alumni of Bemidji State University and Hopkins High School. Before getting an educator’s license, I wiped lunchroom tables and called elementary kids indoors to eat after the end of recess periods.

To get out from Minnesota, I lived in Uruguay on a foreign exchange and saw the country there. I have lived with friends in a house in California during my 20s and worked service jobs for a paycheck. I like the snow and cold of winter, though. In the summer, on weekends and some evenings I go for runs, ride a bike or swim in a lake. Friends and family are important to me and just not doing anything at all to be with them makes me happy.
