Evan Rentz

My background is in Earth and space sciences, and I've taught in three different states! I'm originally from Georgia, lived in North Carolina, and moved to Minnesota in 2023. My bachelor's degree is in Environmental Geoscience, obtained from Valdosta State University in Georgia in 2017. My master's degree, which is in Secondary Ed., also came from VSU in 2020. In addition to Earth, environmental, and space sciences, I've also taught physical science and physics. My wife and I met in Georgia, married in December 2021, and moved to Minnesota together.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy hiking and sight-seeing in the great outdoors. But music, cinema, and video games also keep me regaled in the great indoors. And so do cats. I'm down with pretty much anything involving science, art, history, or music.
