The Optimist Club of St. Paul will be awarding fifteen $3000 scholarships. Seniors who have overcome a significant hardship and demonstrate leadership along with academic success with a commitment to their community, are encouraged to apply. Student deadline is Oct 6th to enter your information and the Dollars for Scholars document explains the steps students take. The nominator (any staff including us counselors can do the application for up to 3 students) submits the completed application questionnaire by the October 27th deadline for us. NACAC National College Fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center October 5th. Buses will leave Johnson at 8:30am and we will return in time for 3rd lunch. Interested juniors and seniors can pick up a permission slip from the CCRC room 1017 or download it at this link. Contact samina.ali@spps.org if you have any questions.
