Janet Freund

I am Janet Freund, a mathematics teacher at JHS. I began my teaching career in the Fall of 1985. I began my journey at Johnson in the Fall of 2003. During this time I have had (or currently hold) the roles of Math Department Chair, Math PLC Coach, Math Lead and Math Team Assistant Coach. At some point I have taught all levels of mathematics with the exception of AP Calculus. I love the students and staff at JHS and it has been a great place to teach.

Beyond the classroom I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, gardening and visiting my two grown sons who live far away. My favorite way to start a day is with a cup of coffee, the newspaper and my puppy dog by my side.
