Sonja Montgomery

Welcome to Johnson High School, and welcome to my corner of the JHS website.

I've taught at Johnson since 2007, so I know for a fact that JHS is special. I live in St. Paul and my young kids also go to St Paul Public Schools. They keep me busy! If I don't respond right away, I haven't ignored you. If I haven't graded something, I'm probably going to grade it soon, but feel free to email me about it. I love reading and I love talking with other people about the ideas that they've read about. One semester I took my students to see the play Henry V, and we talked about what it means to be a good ruler, and what it means to take care of the people around you. I'm at The Guthrie when this photo was taken. Let's chat about reading! I believe that writing well can make your life easier in so many ways. Let's write!
