¡Hola!

I have been teaching Spanish at Johnson Senior High School since 2001. I am passionate about helping students acquire Spanish in a dynamic, hands-on environment. I believe that students acquire all languages (whether it be their first, second, third, or twentieth!) through access to engaging comprehensible input, in other words, language that they understand and want to listen to. As a result, my curriculum is centered around stories and dramas. My goal each day is to design a class where students feel comfortable and excited about participating in activities built around the stories that we are working with as well as the lives of the students in the class.
