Staff profile

Hello! My name is Mark Johnson and I am a Special Education teacher here at Johnson Senior High School. I have been working at Johnson since 2021 and have worked in Saint Paul since 2016. Prior to coming to Saint Paul Public Schools, I worked in Wisconsin as a Special Education teacher. I earned my BA Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I completed my Master's of Education Program in Special Education at Cardinal Stritch University.

I work with a wide variety of students here at Johnson. My caseload consists of students with services in the area of ASD and OHD.

I teach a special education math class and skills class were we work on meeting IEP goals and objectives. I strive to build positive relationships with students and families and enjoy celebrating student success.

When I am not here at Johnson Senior High, I am with my family enjoying the beautiful parks in and around Saint Paul .
