Staff profile

Hello! My name is Melanie Lunda, and I am the choir director and piano instructor at Johnson Senior High School. I have a Bachelors of Music Education from UW-River Falls and a Masters of Educational Administration and Leadership from St. Cloud State University. I have been teaching since 2013. I love my job, and I am passionate about providing students with the best possible music education! Music is a place where all students belong! At Johnson, we offer different choirs for all ability levels. Our motto is "Divided by section. United in Harmony." We would love to have you sing with us! In piano class, we have three levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced piano. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and watching football.
