Welcome!

I teach the 9th grade Project Lead the Way Engineering Essentials course at Johnson High School. In this course, we cover a variety of engineering topics, including: sustainable development goals, product testing, ArcGIS mapping, 3D modeling/printing, computer coding, electronics, and more! Students are engaged with hands-on, collaborative engineering projects throughout the semester.

I started at Johnson in the fall of 2023. I began my education career in 2011 teaching middle school and high school science classes. My previous experience includes working as a whitewater raft guide in Colorado and a geologist in northern Minnesota. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology at UW-River Falls and Master of Science in Geological Sciences at UM-Duluth prior to earning my teaching license through UW-River Falls.

I’m excited to be part of the Johnson community!
